About Hyperliquid Tax Report
Why this exists
Hyperliquid grew into the largest decentralized perps venue without ever building the reporting layer that comes standard at custodial exchanges — no KYC, no 1099s, no year-end export button. Meanwhile, generic crypto tax tools, built for spot exchanges, keep mis-handling the three things that define perp trading: exchange-computed realized PnL, hourly funding flows, and liquidation closes. Traders kept reporting the same three failure modes in community forums, so we built the tool we needed: one that reads the numbers the exchange itself reports, instead of re-deriving them.
How it works
- You paste a wallet address; your browser queries the public Hyperliquid API directly.
- The tool paginates through your fills and funding history and groups them by tax year and market.
- Totals are sums of exchange-reported fields —
closedPnl,fee, funding deltas — with nothing re-derived, estimated, or "corrected".
Our data-honesty rules
- If the API only covers your 10,000 most recent fills, the tool says so — it never extrapolates the rest.
- Funding received and funding paid are reported separately — netting them early destroys information your classification depends on.
- Every total is a raw sum you can re-derive yourself from the same public API.
What's next
A CSV export for Koinly, TurboTax, and CPA workflows is on the roadmap, along with multi-wallet merging. The scanner preview will stay free.
